It has been a while, I kinda got sidetracked on this game quite a bit with a slew of others, but I’m back to finish off Human Revolution! Got through the entirety of the DLC section and have managed to get all the way to the last part of the game…
Malik is deeeeeeeeead! And I couldn’t really do much about it, unfortunately… plus, to go along with losing her, I ended up being all thumbs when it came to doing anything in the game.
The more I play this game, the more I remember how goofy it can be when things go wrong… which happens often, especially in my playthrough. Thankfully, I’m milking it for all its worth since I can just save scum the hell out of it.
It has been a while since I actually started this game and I really do need to finish it because there’s a hell of a lot more games that I want to get through. Anyway, watch me fail and fail again and end up doing some goofy stuff as I get through these missions.
Funny thing about this game is that I owned the original version for PC but never actually played it until I bought the Director’s Cut version for Wii U. Thankfully, folks who did buy the original version did get access for the Director’s Cut version for free on Steam…
I’ve been going through this game so much faster than I thought I would! Sure, I’ve only opted to go through a single playthrough instead doing it all over again in a second playthrough, but I’ve squeezed everything I can out of this game playing it solo…
With the main story completed, it’s time to kill Dr. Ned and his abominations, hit up Moxxi and put an end to General Knoxx and Atlas. I got quite a bit done today, but there’s still a lot more to do. While I did try my hand at Moxxi’s Underdome, I didn’t end up completing it…
Wow, I’ve gotten straight back into my obsession with this game because I ended up playing 11+ hours of it today and got all the way to the end of the base game’s story. To be perfectly honest, I could have gone on and done more, but I forced myself to call it a night and continue on to the DLC tomorrow.
I’m actually pretty hyped for this playthrough because Borderlands was a huge obsession of mine back when it first came out. I played it a hell of a lot back then, but that was 9 years ago and I thought I’d come back to this game and do something really interesting with it…
Before I get into the cockpit of an X-Wing, let’s take a blaster and shoot some Stormtroopers with Kyle Katarn in Dark Forces for a little bit… though, as I’ve discovered pretty quickly, this game along with all the other ones I played before it are definitely a product of their time…
The third game in the Heretic/HeXen series takes us into the Quake engine rather than the Doom engine and there are a lot of improvements, though, it’s definitely not a game that I’d be able to play all the way through, at least not after I’ve been spoiled by much newer games.
