My name is Lynk Former and I’m an X-Wing pilot… at least, that’s part of the origin of the name I came up with for myself. In that spirit, it’s time to take on the Empire in one of my most played games of the mid-90s.
Before I get into the cockpit of an X-Wing, let’s take a blaster and shoot some Stormtroopers with Kyle Katarn in Dark Forces for a little bit… though, as I’ve discovered pretty quickly, this game along with all the other ones I played before it are definitely a product of their time…
If you thought Super Star Wars and Super Empire Strikes Back was difficult and had a lot of moments that you thought weren’t fair, just wait till you see what Super Return of the Jedi has in store for us!
Just like the first game, the second is just as hard… no, wait, it’s even harder! I end up using every dirty trick in the book to finish it because, holy crap, these games were meant for a certain period of time that I don’t belong to any more. It’s all still pretty fun though, I have to admit.
Oh, WOW! I forgot how hard this game is! I get the feeling the developers made this game so difficult just because it doesn’t actually take all that much time to beat. The key is to get those little kids back in the 90s to die over and over just so they can keep playing…
@EA Well done, you have convinced me to not buy any of your games after this whole mess with Visceral and Battlefront II. I’m done.
J.J. Abrams, Lawrence Kasdan and the rest of the cast and crew of The Force Awakens has put the fun back into Star Wars. I haven’t had this fun watching a movie since… Fury Road lol.
Here’s a project I’ve been involved with for quite some time that has finally come this far. In an effort to renew the LucasArts Fan Network, welcome to Star Wars Gamer.
Who would have thought this day would come, Disney now owns LucasFilm, Ltd. and now we’re getting another three Star Wars movies, sequels to the original trilogy.
Watching Star Wars not in its release order and not in its chronological order? Seems strange but hey, I’m willing to give it a go. 4, 5, 2, 3, 6 is the order, skip 1 entirely.
Hah, so… okay, really didn’t think this would happen but apparently you should totally ignore my last entry saying I was quitting The Old Republic, looks like they’ve pulled me back in.
