Getting back into the field with Squad E and things are starting to heat up with new mechanics along the way. So far, I’ve managed to get through these missions with mostly A ranks, but I do need to get better…
Here we go back to fight in the Second Europan War, but this time playing as Squad E as part of the Federation Army. I’m pretty hyped about this because I’ve been waiting (as has everyone else) for a new Valkyria Chronicles game to come out on a non-handheld system…
Whoops, looks like I went 4 Fast 4 Furious in this game and ended up blowing past way too much to get to the end. Oh well, no big deal. While I wasn’t a huge fan of this game, I can see where it all started and how it evolved into the superior Dying Light…
I thought I’d end up spending a few more episodes on this game, but it looks like skipping all those side quests has gotten me to the last part already. That’s okay, the side quests seem pretty generic any way since they’re all pretty much just fetch quests.
Should I be throwing all these knives around? I mean, every time I try to go for a standard melee attack, I always end up taking damage, so it seems like throwing the knives is the way to go…
It’s summer down here in Australia and what better way to spend summer than at a resort… until the zombies come and eat everyone. This game is pretty old now, but I got it through Humble Bundle recently and thought I’d try it out.
This is the final episode of Valkyria Chronicles and I’m heading back to see how far I can get with Selvaria… unfortunately, as I found out, not all that far. On my PS3 save, I’ve gotten A ranks on all of Selvaria’s missions, but I did remember it took me quite a while to achieve that…
Time to take on the Edy Detachment’s various skirmish map challenges, which is actually pretty cool since I haven’t actually played any of them before. With each map, things get more and more interesting with various scenarios thrown at you based around each character class.
Stopped the Star Wars: X-Wing playthrough indefinitely. Can’t keep the ship steady any more, the drift caused by my joystick is getting worse. Next Thursday, I start Dead Island on #twitch
Things are getting a hell of a lot more difficult are I near the end of the fourth tour of duty. In a two hour period, I only manage to beat two levels which is pretty slow compared to how I was going earlier on in the game.
Edy is annoying as all hell and so is her “Enter the Edy Detachment!” mission. The only good part about it is the fact that Lynn, Jann and Marina are there, making them the only competent characters in the roster.
