I’ve been running my current PC for a while now, but there’s so much going on with it that it puts unnecessary overhead when trying to run games. It’s a nice PC, don’t get me wrong, but what I really want is the best performance I can muster.
The reconstruction of the SDF-1 is going to take some time, but we’ve come to the stage where the third MACROSS is operational and ready to go… and it is AWESOME!
I’ve been planning to build a new PC for quite some time now and while I’ve bought some miscellaneous items in preparation for the new build, this is the first major item I have bought.
I built my new server PC back in August and it’s been running pretty well so far. It has saved me from running out of HDD space which was getting pretty dire at the time.
I’ve got so many Blu-rays that there are times when I end up buying the same movie twice because I forgot I bought it the first time.
Another train ride, this time Hiroshima straight to Tokyo, which took half a day… but, for the rest of the day and the day after that, nothing but, shopping, shopping, shopping!
The second day of my trip to Japan takes me to Meiji Shrine, Shibuya and Akihabara where we take a look at a part of old Japan compared to the newer modern Japan.
I got back from Japan today with a tonne of loot and lots of pictures to show off, I’ll start posting up entries about my trip VERY soon…
As promised, I’m posting an entry about my the new PC that I have built… which I have named MACROSS after the ship from my favourite anime Super Dimension Fortress Macross!
The 30th anniversary version of the VF-1J Valkyrie by Yamato Toys, released during their final year of existence before they became the newly titled “Arcadia” company.
I got myself one of those unofficial replica N7 leather jackets that Commander Shepard wears in Mass Effect 3. Feels so geeky, yet so good.
