And just like the first time I played this game on my PS4, I’m hooked. I don’t know what it is about Monster Hunter… and Monster Hunter World in particular, but everything about this game hits all the right marks to make you want to come back and play more… more! MORE!!
When I woke up today, I thought, why not spend the entire day playing Monster Hunter World? And so… here we are, though, this is only the session from the start of the day where I go through the Coral Highlands and enter the Rotten Vale.
This session was actually pretty short because I had already done a few hours finishing off Shadow of the Tomb Raider and doing other stuff throughout the day. However, I did end up getting to the Coral Highlands with the Rotten Vale the next area to explore.
I’ve already played the hell out of this game on my PS4, but since I’m focusing more on PC these days, I wanted to go through it all over again, but this time using an ultrawide monitor and with MUCH better load times.
Whoops, looks like I went 4 Fast 4 Furious in this game and ended up blowing past way too much to get to the end. Oh well, no big deal. While I wasn’t a huge fan of this game, I can see where it all started and how it evolved into the superior Dying Light…
I thought I’d end up spending a few more episodes on this game, but it looks like skipping all those side quests has gotten me to the last part already. That’s okay, the side quests seem pretty generic any way since they’re all pretty much just fetch quests.
Should I be throwing all these knives around? I mean, every time I try to go for a standard melee attack, I always end up taking damage, so it seems like throwing the knives is the way to go…
It’s summer down here in Australia and what better way to spend summer than at a resort… until the zombies come and eat everyone. This game is pretty old now, but I got it through Humble Bundle recently and thought I’d try it out.
I’ve been going through this game so much faster than I thought I would! Sure, I’ve only opted to go through a single playthrough instead doing it all over again in a second playthrough, but I’ve squeezed everything I can out of this game playing it solo…
With the main story completed, it’s time to kill Dr. Ned and his abominations, hit up Moxxi and put an end to General Knoxx and Atlas. I got quite a bit done today, but there’s still a lot more to do. While I did try my hand at Moxxi’s Underdome, I didn’t end up completing it…
Wow, I’ve gotten straight back into my obsession with this game because I ended up playing 11+ hours of it today and got all the way to the end of the base game’s story. To be perfectly honest, I could have gone on and done more, but I forced myself to call it a night and continue on to the DLC tomorrow.
