This is why I like my console games on a physical disc, theres no BS like when a game gets removed for whatever reason and it cant be downloaded ever again.

Because people are stupid... Forcing online connectivity in order to enjoy the full features of a game (ignoring multiplayer) is just dumb, but it seems that developers are forcing online features on everyone these days.

Dominion Tank Police. One of Masamune Shirow's lesser known series that I honestly enjoyed, he was actually working on a new manga just before GITS SAC began, which he ended up focusing on and sadly never got back to continuing the new Dominion. Would love to see a revival of the series
