Yup, just as I thought, I ended up finishing this game pretty quickly, within 2 hours in fact. I actually like the improvements that were made in this small sequel/side story though, the gameplay feels a whole lot better and all the jank from the first game has been ironed out.

Okay, okay… THIS is the actual final episode of Valkyria Chronicles 4… and when I mean final, I mean until the Squad 7 DLC comes out and I end up doing one or two more extra episodes to play that content. But in the meantime, I spent this session finishing off all the squad stories.

There’s still quite a lot of content to get through in this game even though I’ve already finished off the main story. Along with finishing off the DLC missions, there are a bunch of side story missions for various squad members that I’ve been busy unlocking along the way.
