Japan: Day 07: Hiroshima, the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Museum
I don’t really have much to say in this entry so I’ll just let the pictures do the talking for me, I will say this though, the trip to Hiroshima was well worth it.
We all know Hiroshima to be one of the two cities (along with Nagasaki) on the entire planet to be destroyed by a nuclear weapon, but what I took away from my experience of visiting Hiroshima wasn’t that it was a city that was destroyed…

What I saw when I went to Hiroshima was a city reborn, one that now stands as a monument against nuclear proliferation.
Tomorrow, we head off to Miyajima Island…
